Zoe visited the cardiologist today for an ultrasound. The ultrasound confirmed that her heart isn't working as well as it did. This regression was predicted before Zoe was born.
Dr. Frommelt also noticed her heart is thicker - an unexpected observation. They're not sure why the thickness has occurred.
Dr. Frommelt is going to present Zoe's case to her peers tomorrow and will let us know Friday what the next steps are.
My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Lord, I pray that you would open the doctors' hearts and minds. I pray for a humbleness of heart in them. I pray that you would cast out all fear from them. Let them make a decision according to your plans and purposes. You are the Lord and the master physician in this matter. Your will....and yours alone...be done. In Jesus' Name.

ReplyDeletePlease dear Lord, hear this prayer from our hearts.
It's amazing how much Zoe has grown! She is sweet and beautiful, and her smile is just what I needed tonight. God please continue to shower your mercy and strength on your little Zoe - she is a light for us in this world. God give you all patience, wisdom, strength and joy. Like the joy Zoe shows in this picture - so precious!
