I know him because of Zoe. She's changed it all, connecting a guy in Milwaukee with a guy in San Antonio. (P.S. We have 14 kids between the two of us - another weird connection)
Here's another example of the Zoe effect, an email from the Batiansila Family Patron Saint, Mark Natzke: "So on your blog, Barb read about a family that had reached out to Robbie Seay that needed help. It was a huge family that took in foster children and orphans and lost everything in the hurricane.
Barb's efforts allowed her to donate 4 boxes of clothes and $200 in Wal Mart gift cards.

Mark's right . . . . that little miracle facilitated an amazing opportunity for the Westwood faculty in Friendswood, TX. So we read on your blog about a family of 15 who could use some help. We collected 8 large bins of gently-used clothing - some came from a teacher as far away as New Jersey! Anyway, then instead of a Boss' Day gift for our Principal and AP, we collected for a WalMart giftcard to present to this family in their honor. We were able to throw in 4 cases of diapers and two boxes of toiletries. It was such a blessing to go to their home with my little boy and drop those items off. Thanks, Zoe, and Liz Seay for helping make that happen!
