Morning On Green Lake

If this part of my life were a screenplay, I'd definitely write that we were living in this beautiful home with just enough space and fireplace and firepit and a basketball hoop where when you woke up you heard this stillness and cacophony of birds. Where morning dew reflects the rising sun up to the edge of a mostly placid lake.

But the house wasn't yours. You were renting it. In fact, you knew that it was a matter of time before you weren't going to be able to live there.

And then, a producer somewhere would tell you that they get the metaphor, and that its kind of obvious - and maybe a bit over the top.

Thanks for the reminder that all that we have really belongs to the Lord....Reminds me of this scripture Hannah said of her son Samuel.....

    1 Samuel 1:27
"For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him. 28 Therefore I have lent him to the Lord. As long as he lives, he is lent to the Lord.”

Glad you woke up this am to a beautiful day..........

Incrediby insightful and accurate, Greg. And we all live in rented houses - temporary dwelling places. Thanks for the reminder - and the analogy. Time is short -
