Zoe Keeps Chugging Along
So if you asked me today what I think, I think Zoe is doing better than before, which means she might be better than she's ever been. Her heart works. Her skin is slowly getting pink. She's intubated but her breathing is actually stronger than the vent. She held my hand today and maintains her Kung Fu grip.
I'm not sure how much longer she'll be intubated. Docs say they still see something in her right lung, but aren't sure if that's tube position. I have no idea what that means.
I've told a lot of you how proud I am of my daughter. She isn't surviving. She's fighting and winning. She's strengthened by your prayers, blessed by our Father, living in Grace.

Trisomy 18 means "incompatible with life", Zoe means "life". Those doctors need to redefine Trisomy 18. Praising God for each day as Zoe gives us all the meaning of life. She looks beautiful and will continue to pray for Ms. Zoe.

Just like Nicole in California says, I am praying for you endlessly here in California too!! She is looking so good and bright eyed, thank God. The other bumps in the road will continue smoothing out, I just know it. This girl is my hero. Praying that all decisions made for her are in Gods time. I am praying you home with her for Christmas. I can't think of a more blessed gift, than to take your GIFT of LIFE home to her family full of life and faith. Hold on and watch what the Lord has in store.

Oh, Zoe... you are so BEAUTIFUL in this pic. Plz tell Daddy to keep the pics coming and thank him for sharing you with us. It is so nice to be able to have new pics to visualize when we pray for you! Tell Mommy and Daddy that they are heroes to more than just you and your siblings... They are inspirational and true Christian models. They are proud of you, but we are proud of you AND them.
