But, They're Ill-Tempered Sea Bass

Many of you are wondering if Zoe's hooked up to a machine or got some kind of dripping device (not unlike the one from Austin Powers). The answer is No, Baby!

Zoe wears a patch of Catapres-TTS that lasts a week. It's a blood pressure medicine that will help her get blood properly to her body.

She's also taking Captopril, a medicine that a lot of heart patients take.

Zoe's still taking Prevacid, something she took before surgery to help with her reflux.

And...she's taking Lasix, stuff that a lot of heart patients take that helps all of the liquids exit the body correctly.

And...prune juice. For stuff that prune juice does.

So, besides getting pretty upset that she has to take all the foul liquid orally, Zoe doesn't really encounter much. No beep-beeping, no dripping.

And, she's pink.

Right now, she's in bed, and just realizing that her parents thought she was going to stay in bed.

  2. Wow, I am so amazed to be reading about our Pink Zoe lying in her own bed at her own home!!! And no beeps and tubes and wires!! And home in time for Christmas.:) I don't know about anyone else, but I can tell you that all of my prayers have been answered here and I am thanking the ONE who is faithful. Faithful for Life and Faithful to Zoe and her family through the storm. My prayers are still flowing for your family as you settle in to your new surroundings called home and asking God to meet each and every one of your needs. My heart is full for the Batiansila gang this season.

  3. I was just reading "the list," and got to the prune one, and had to laugh. Prunes, bah!

So glad your littlest one is safely home and doing so well.
