November 25

Surgery has been set for Baby Z on November 25th. As mentioned before, we chose the shunt surgery and will be meeting with Zoe's doctor preoperatively on the 24th.

The days are flying by, everyone! The above is a post I didn't think I'd ever write. NOVEMBER 25TH. As in 8 months after she's born.

Pray for Zoe and the doctor and whatever this gift you and I have been given - to watch God fostering and securing a life beyond the experts' expectations.

  2. I am so happy to hear that you got a date. We will be praying for Zoe, you, your wife, and all your precious children as I know this will be a trying time for you all. After the holidays I would love to come up to Wisconsin and meet your family. We'll have to talk.
    Take care my friend, Melissa

  3. I will be praying constantly that God will orchestrate everything Zoe needs for this upcoming and blessed surgery. "Life beyond the experts' expetations" most definitely. Zoe's journey continues and I am honored to be a part of praying for His Miracles. Blessings to you as you wait and Gods peace all over you.

    Love, Laurie in Ca.

  4. I will be keeping Zoe and your wonderful family in my prayers and close to my heart. I was led to your blog through a photographer friend of mine and I am now a follower of baby Zoe. I've been trying to come up with the words to say to let you know I was reading your words, but I could not get them out the way I wanted to. When I read your post on Zoe's surgery date, I figured there's none better than the present. I too had a chromosome blessing, though we were only given 2.5 days - plus a full term pregancy with my Taylor, she definitely changed our life, for the better. She would have just turned 5 this October 27th. As I look at the pictures and video of Zoe I often wonder "what if". You're welcome to read her story as I retold it on her birthday in my blog this year.

I pray that Zoe continues to prove the doctors wrong and is an incredible exception to the Trisomy "rules".
